A GP faces a £75 penalty for illegal parking during an emergency call – even though his car was displaying an official permit.
Ben Claybrook, 34, got a £25 ticket visiting a patient with breathing difficulties.
Parking officials in Scarborough, North Yorks, said the permit did not cover the car park where he left his vehicle.
After two failed appeals, the penalty has risen to £75.
The GP is now appealing to a tribunal.
IF THIS WASN'T SO SERIOUS IT WOULD BE LAUGHABLE.
WHEN WILL THIS MADNESS END?
